IMAGINE NOT WRITING CONTENT FOR 6 MONTHS YET

Watch Your Traffic Grow

People look at me in wonder when I tell them I haven’t written a blog post in 6 months, yet my traffic has increase by 20% and some posts have seen a 450% increase from Q4 2017 to Q1 2018.  All in a time when Pinterest is playing with peoples traffic like it’s dice on a game board.

I don’t rely on Pinterest, Facebook or another social media or search engine platform.  While it’s great to get traffic from these other sources AND it’s always a good thing to diversify your traffic if you’re relying on just these platforms you will always be in a roller coaster ride with your traffic.

This is why I’m in love with Google and organic traffic.

I don’t have huge numbers in terms of traffic, but I still earn a full-time living that contributes to my household and let’s us live a pretty darn good life.

When you follow good optimization practices you no matter what’s happening with these other platforms you’re traffic will be pretty predictable and steady.

This is why I love this technique so much.

When you already have content on your site, how much easier is it to update that traffic, rather than coming up with a whole new thing to write about.

WHY DOES THIS WORK SO WELL

You've already laid the ground work

You've already established with Google that you have content worth looking sharing and looking at.

Now you can fine tune your site and help Google to rediscover your website

You don’t have to recreate the wheel and come up with new content all of the time

You Put A Lot of Time and Effort Into Your Content

Why not make sure you get the most from them by going back from time to time reviving them? Instead of writing new content, schedule some time each week to revive an old post or two.

If you’ve been blogging for any length of time, you have a back catalog of posts. They’re still getting a bit of traffic and there’s a lot of good information hidden in those posts.

Some of the material may be outdated, some links may be broken and your writing, formatting and image creation skills have come a long way since those early days. In other words, there’s a lot you can do to make these older posts better.

Of course I’m not suggesting you should stop writing new content. That’s always a good idea. All I’m saying is that you should also set aside a little time to revive old blog posts and turn them into traffic, subscriber and money generating machines.

And that’s what this guide is all about. I’ll walk you through the process and to make it easy to follow along it’s broken down into simple steps.

You’ll learn…

  • How to figure out what blog posts you should rework to get the most bang for your buck.
  • Tips for reworking your content to get it up to date and make it appealing for both your readers and the search engines.
  • Simple things you can do to make sure each revived blog post is fully monetized.
  • Use images to make it visually appealing and help with social media.
  • Simple things you can do to drive more traffic to the revived blog post.
  • Rinse and repeat with more old content on a regular basis.
